Celebrating in Lake County
Where Lake County hosts use linens
Because the county is long and narrow, delivery distance matters. A truck headed to Zion or Antioch has a much longer run than one going to Deerfield or Lincolnshire. Send your exact address and we match you to the right vendor zone, then itemize delivery so you can compare options for ceremony and reception sites on opposite ends of the county.
Lakefront and ravine estates
North Shore estates and lakefront parks mean beautiful setups with wind and uneven ground. Plan ceremony rows with care.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Forest preserve gatherings
Lake County Forest Preserves rent shelters and event spaces. Check with the district about permits and vehicle access.

Chain O'Lakes and lakeside backyards
Lake houses and waterfront lots in the northwest corner often have narrow access roads, so confirm truck access beforehand.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Suburban halls and downtown plazas
Libertyville, Mundelein and Gurnee have halls and downtown plazas that host weddings, school events and community festivals.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Delivery notes for Lake County
- Routes 120, 176, 21 and 83 can bottleneck on summer weekends near Gurnee and Libertyville. We plan around the peak hours.
- Many North Shore villages have rules about street parking for deliveries. Check with your village hall if your property sits on a narrow street.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
