Who you pay, and what we guarantee
Paying for your rentals
- Free. Quote, planning call and proposal. No card needed.
- 10% booking fee. Paid to Beyond Chiavari when you approve, only after your vendor confirms.
- Deposit. Paid to the rental company at booking, under its agreement.
- Balance. Paid to the rental company, usually 7-14 days before the event.

Questions
About the process
How long does a quote take?
Most confirmed quotes go out within one business day. Peak-season Saturdays can take a little longer when we are checking several vendors.
Can I change my order after booking?
Yes. Quantities can usually be adjusted until about two weeks before the event, subject to availability.
What if an item is unavailable?
We suggest the closest match in style and price, and you choose whether to swap it.
Who actually delivers my rentals?
Independent Chicago-area rental companies that we vet. We ask each one for proof of general liability insurance before we book it. Beyond Chiavari is the booking and coordination service: we share your rental company's name and agreement as soon as you secure your booking, and its rental agreement covers delivery, setup and pickup.
When do I pay, and who do I pay?
Nothing until a rental company confirms your date and you approve your proposal. Then you pay our 10% booking fee to us, and the rental company's deposit and balance to them under their agreement.
Are your prices higher than booking direct?
Our prices include a 10% booking and coordination fee on top of the rental company's price, and your proposal shows both. In return you get one quote for every category, one coordinator, and our Booking Promise.
