Celebrating in Palatine
Where Palatine hosts use linens
We keep the plan simple. Tell us your guest count, site and timing, and we will propose chairs, tables and linens that match your layout, with every line item in your quote. Palatine is also home to older neighborhoods with mature trees and newer subdivisions with wider streets, so site details vary from block to block. We ask about driveway width, tree cover and neighbors before we plan, and we suggest delivery windows that keep the street clear for the caterer and guests.
Backyard tent parties
Common for graduations, weddings and birthdays. Share a photo of your yard.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Forest preserve picnics
Deer Grove and other Cook County preserves need permits and have equipment rules.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Park district pavilions
The Palatine Park District sets its own reservation and equipment rules.

Banquet halls and parish halls
Ask what seating is included and when you can load in.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
