Celebrating in Lake Villa
Where Lake Villa hosts use linens
Because roads around the lakes are narrow and many lots slope toward the water, delivery routes and carry distance deserve attention. Early-season ground can be soft, and summer breezes carry across open yards. Tell us about your property or venue, and we will help you plan seating that suits the terrain and the guest count. A few photos and an exact address are all we need to start, and we are happy to talk through the details of your Lake Villa space by phone.
Lakeside backyards
Sloped lots and docks mean plenty of steps. Lighter chairs help when trucks cannot reach the lawn.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Graduation open houses
Backyard tents are the norm in spring. Book early for late May and June.

Community and church halls
Receptions and memorials often move to halls. Ask the venue what seating is on hand.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Park district and village events
Village and park district sites host family parties. Confirm reservations and tent rules before you book.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Delivery notes for Lake Villa
- Slopes and stairs to the water change the plan. Photos of your yard help us pick the right chairs.
- Summer weekends bring more traffic to Route 59 and Grand Avenue, so aim for an early or midday delivery.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
