Celebrating in Fox Lake
Where Fox Lake hosts use linens
Lots near the lake are often narrow with steep steps and tight driveways. Streets fill with cars and trailers in summer, and water levels, wind and humidity affect outdoor events. Tell us your address, guest count and how people will get to the party, and we will help plan chairs, tables and a delivery window that works. A few photos and an exact address are all we need to start, and we are happy to talk through the details of your Fox Lake space by phone.
Waterfront lawns and docks
Tight lots and steps to the water make carry distance important. Light chairs are easier to place.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Boat-in and holiday gatherings
Holiday weekends bring crowds. Plan seating for people coming and going throughout the day.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Backyard graduation parties
Spring tents are common. Book early for late May and June.

Church and community halls
Receptions and memorials often use halls. Ask what seating is available and when setup can begin.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
