What usually goes wrong

The seating headaches, solved

The problem

Your venue's folding chairs don't match the look you've planned.

How we help

We'll suggest a style that fits your space, like warm cross-backs for a barn or clear ghost chairs for a modern loft, and you can see finishes before you commit.

The problem

You're not sure if you need separate ceremony and reception chairs.

How we help

We'll walk through both options with you: a second set for a calm cocktail hour, or a flip if your venue has the staff and time to move chairs.

The problem

Outdoor ceremony, unpredictable Chicago weather.

How we help

We'll flag which chairs are outdoor friendly and help you plan the rain backup so the same chairs can move indoors or under a tent.

The problem

Tight delivery windows at the venue.

How we help

Many venues limit load-in times. We'll confirm your venue's window early and build the delivery around it. If the venue requires a vendor certificate of insurance, tell us first: we can't issue one yet.

Clear acrylic disappears into modern rooms and lets florals and linens lead.

Planning notes

A Chicago wedding can mean a ceremony in a Gold Coast church and a reception in a West Loop loft, or vows under the oaks at a forest preserve and dinner in a St. Charles barn. Each space asks for something different from the chairs, and the chairs end up in nearly every photo.

We're a St. Charles-based booking team that matches each wedding with vetted Chicago-area rental companies, and we plan every one closely: how many chairs for the ceremony versus dinner, whether a flip during cocktail hour is realistic, and which style suits your room and your florals.

Lake wind, late spring storms and October chill are part of planning here. We'll talk through rain plans, indoor backups and which of our chairs are happy outdoors, so the seating doesn't become the thing you worry about the week of.

Questions

Weddings seating questions

How far in advance should I book wedding chairs in Chicago?

Popular weekends from May through October fill early across the Chicago area. Reaching out as soon as your venue and date are set gives you the best choice of styles. Our 2026-27 season calendar is open now for quote requests.

Do you deliver to Chicago wedding venues and the suburbs?

Yes, we plan deliveries across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs from our base in St. Charles. Delivery and setup are itemized in your quote so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

How much does it cost to rent wedding chairs?

Our estimated per-chair ranges run from about $5 to $7 for teak garden folding chairs up to $20 to $30 for Louis medallion chairs, with sweetheart thrones priced per pair. Your quote will show chairs, delivery and setup as separate lines.

Can I use the same chairs for the ceremony and the reception?

Often, yes, if your venue has staff and time to move them during cocktail hour. Some couples prefer a second set so the transition is calm. We'll help you weigh both on a planning call.

Are your chairs okay for an outdoor wedding?

Several of our styles, including cross-back, ghost, rattan garden and teak folding chairs, are suited to outdoor use. We'll still recommend a rain plan, since Chicago weather can turn quickly.

Do I need to give my venue a certificate of insurance?

Many Chicago venues, especially hotels and high-rise event spaces, ask outside vendors for a COI. We can't issue a certificate of insurance yet, so check with your venue coordinator before you book and tell us what they require.
