Planning notes

Chicago and its suburbs are home to a wide range of faith communities, from historic city parishes and suburban megachurches to Hindu temples, gurdwaras, mosques and synagogues. Many hold events that outgrow their usual seating: holiday services, festivals, anniversaries and community meals.

Every community has its own customs. Some gatherings use floor seating for worship and chairs only for elders or guests who need them. Others need long rows for an overflow service in a fellowship hall, or tables and chairs in a parking lot tent for a festival.

We'll ask how your space is used before we suggest anything, and we'll time deliveries around services and prayer times. If shoes come off in certain areas, or certain rooms are off limits, just tell us and we'll plan accordingly.

Questions

Religious Events seating questions

Can we rent extra chairs for an Easter or Christmas service in Chicago?

Yes, we deliver overflow seating to churches across Chicago and the suburbs. Major holidays are busy, so reach out early with your expected attendance.

Do you deliver chairs to temples, gurdwaras and mosques?

Yes. Tell us about any customs, such as shoe-free areas or rooms the crew shouldn't enter, and we'll plan the delivery respectfully.

Can you work around our service schedule?

Yes. Share your service and prayer times and we'll schedule drop-off and pickup outside of them.

Do you rent chairs for church festivals in parking lots or tents?

Yes. Our teak garden folding chairs and other outdoor-friendly styles handle tents well. Check with your village about any permits the festival itself needs.

Can our volunteers set up the chairs?

Yes, many communities prefer that. Stackable styles make it easier, and setup by our team can be added to your quote if you want it.

What's an affordable chair for large religious gatherings?

Our teak garden folding chair has an estimated range of about $5 to $7 per chair. Your quote will list chairs, delivery and any setup separately.
