Planning a gathering after a loss is hard, and it often happens on short notice. Many families in the Chicago area choose a celebration of life at home, in a backyard, a park pavilion or a parish hall, where people can share stories over food.
The seating needs are usually simple: rows for a short service or remarks, then tables for a meal. Elders and close family need comfortable seats near the front, and some guests will come and go throughout the afternoon.
We'll keep our questions short and practical. If you'd rather a friend or relative handle the details with us, that's completely fine. We'll be respectful of your time and your space on delivery day.

Do you deliver to homes and parks in the Chicago suburbs?
Yes, we deliver across Chicago and the suburbs. For a park pavilion, check with the park district about outside rentals and delivery times.
How many chairs do we need for a memorial gathering?
For a short service, plan rows for the expected crowd with front rows for family. For a meal afterward, seating for about half of guests often works if people come and go.
Can someone else handle the arrangements with you?
Of course. A friend, relative or funeral director is welcome to coordinate with us on your behalf.
Can the chairs be set up outdoors?
Yes. Windsor, cross-back and teak garden folding chairs are suited to outdoor use. We'll help you think through a backup if the weather turns.
How is pricing handled?
Your quote lists the chairs, delivery and setup separately, so there are no surprises. Our teak garden folding chair has an estimated range of about $5 to $7 per chair.
