Celebrating in Palos Hills
Where Palos Hills hosts use linens
Lots are medium to large, so backyard tents and long tables are common. Large guest counts are normal, and many hosts combine a banquet hall with a home gathering. We help you plan counts, confirm access and timing, and arrange extra seating where the hall or home falls short. A clear plan for where guests will walk, wash up and eat keeps the party relaxed, and we can sketch seating zones if it helps.
Backyard tents
Medium and large lots support full tents and round tables. Plan access and level ground.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Banquet hall events
Large guest counts are common. Confirm hall seating before ordering extras.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Graduation gatherings
Moraine Valley season brings family parties. Order early in May and June.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Forest preserve picnics
Nearby preserve groves need a Forest Preserves of Cook County permit.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Delivery notes for Palos Hills
- Large guest counts may need two delivery stages. Ask about timing so tables and chairs are ready before arrival.
- Spring storms are common. Ask about tent and rain backup when you request a quote.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
