Celebrating in Downers Grove
Where Downers Grove hosts use linens
For corporate clients, we'll talk through loading docks and building rules, and we'll be upfront that we can't issue certificates of insurance yet. For families, we'll ask about your yard and your timeline. Either way, the quote itemizes chairs, delivery and setup.
Corporate campuses
Office parks along I-88 and Butterfield Road often have loading docks and security desks. Many require a certificate of insurance.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Backyards near downtown
Older lots with big oaks and maples make shady party spaces, though roots can tilt a row if nobody checks.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Arboretum-area celebrations
The Morton Arboretum is a popular backdrop. It has its own event policies, so check with them about outside rentals.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Downtown event spaces
Restaurants and rooms on Main Street suit showers and rehearsal dinners. Weekend parking near the Metra is tight.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
