Celebrating in Dixmoor
Where Dixmoor hosts use linens
Because many Dixmoor lots are small and close together, we size chair and table counts to the real yard rather than an ideal one, and we confirm street parking before the truck arrives since most blocks rely on it. If your celebration is moving to a hall in a nearby town, tell us the venue and we will plan the delivery route around it. A short note about fences, gates or pets in the yard helps our crew move quickly once they arrive.
More about Dixmoor
Dixmoor is one of the smallest villages in Cook County, a tight residential grid along the Little Calumet River corridor. Most celebrations stay close to home, in a backyard or at a hall just over the village line in Harvey or Posen.
Backyard birthdays and showers
Small, tightly built lots suit a simple table-and-chair layout for family gatherings.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.Nearby banquet halls
Larger parties often move to a hall in Harvey or Posen; we deliver to either.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
