Celebrating in Clarendon Hills
Where Clarendon Hills hosts use linens
Lots are typically mid-sized, with mature trees and tight driveways, and curb space can be tight on block-party weekends. Planning focuses on layout, access and ground conditions. We help you size the order, choose chairs that suit brick, porches and gardens, and schedule delivery around downtown traffic and the commuter rhythm of the station. A short call, plus a photo of your yard or room, helps us settle the layout and delivery plan.
Clarendon Hills is a small, tidy village along the Metra BNSF line, with a walkable downtown near the station and quiet residential blocks. It sits between Hinsdale, Westmont and Downers Grove, and many residents commute to the city by train. Commuter trains and downtown foot traffic can make the center of the village feel lively on busy days.
Backyard showers and garden parties
Mid-sized lots suit small tents and rounds. Plan the buffet, seating and a path for caterers.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Downtown restaurants and event rooms
Small gatherings near the station may add specialty chairs and linens to house inventory.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Church and school events
Receptions, banquets and fundraisers often need extra chairs and tables.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Park gatherings
Neighborhood parks host birthday parties and reunions. Check reservation rules with the village or park district.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Delivery notes for Clarendon Hills
- Mature trees and older lawns may be uneven or damp. We can adjust the layout to the firmest ground.
- Check with neighbors and your HOA, if any, about noise and parking for larger gatherings.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
