Celebrating in Wayne
Where Wayne hosts use linens
That freedom comes with real logistics. Long gravel or private drives, gates, uneven fields and soft ground can complicate delivery, and there are no nearby hotels or banquet halls to fall back on. We help you plan seating around the terrain, coordinate with tent and catering teams, and schedule delivery so nothing sits in the sun or rain longer than it must.
Estate tent weddings
Large lots fit a ceremony, a tented dinner and a dance floor. Plan power, lighting, restrooms and parking early.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Horse-property and barn gatherings
Barns and paddock-edge lawns offer scenic backdrops. Ask about ground conditions and where vehicles may drive.
Linens here: Many barn tables look best bare with a runner. Rent napkins and runners and skip full cloths to save money.
Forest preserve outings
Pratt's Wayne Woods hosts picnics and gatherings. Check with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County for permits.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Private charity and club events
Fundraisers on private properties need polished, matching seating and a clear setup plan.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Delivery notes for Wayne
- Fields and lawns can be soft or uneven, especially in spring. Tell us about drainage, and we will plan rows on the firmest ground.
- With no nearby hotels or halls, plan a rain contingency such as a tent or alternate indoor space.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
