Celebrating in West Chicago
Where West Chicago hosts use linens
The edges of the city open to farmland and forest preserve land. Kline Creek Farm and Pratt's Wayne Woods are close, and DuPage Airport sits on the west side. For hosts, the practical challenges are hall capacity, tent space in backyards, and delivery timing around downtown rail crossings. We help size the order and plan a realistic layout. A quick call about your room, yard or tent helps us settle numbers and delivery timing.
Banquet halls and reception rooms
Quinceañeras and weddings often use halls that provide basic tables but need extra chairs, linens and head-table pieces.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Reed-Keppler Park picnic shelters
Great for birthday parties and community gatherings. Check with the West Chicago Park District about reservations and access.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Backyard tent parties
Bigger lots on the outskirts fit large tents and dance floors. Plan power, lighting and catering access.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Church and parish halls
Baptisms, communions and anniversary lunches often need extra chairs and long tables for family-style service.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Delivery notes for West Chicago
- For large quinceañeras, plan for a head table, a dance floor and a clear aisle for the court. We can help lay it out.
- Backyards near farmland may have soft or uneven ground. Tell us about drainage and where trucks can safely park.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
