Celebrating in Bartlett
Where Bartlett hosts use linens
Because the village crosses three counties, tent and event rules depend on where your address falls. Check with the Village of Bartlett about approvals, and with the park district for park events. Traffic on Route 59 and Devon Avenue can slow trucks at peak hours, so plan a mid-morning delivery window and book early for May and June, when graduation parties pile up.
Subdivision backyards
Family-friendly lots host graduations, birthdays and communion parties, with tents common on larger lots.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Park district parks
Bartlett Park District sites suit casual gatherings; confirm reservation rules with the district.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Downtown near the Metra station
Compact blocks host community events and fundraisers, with limited loading space.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Banquet halls
Event rooms along Route 59 and Lake Street host larger weddings and receptions.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right

One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
