Celebrating in Bartlett
Where Bartlett hosts use lighting
Bartlett sits where Cook, DuPage and Kane counties meet, on the Milwaukee District West Metra line, with a downtown centered on the train station. The Bartlett Park District runs a wide network of parks, and Bartlett Hills Golf Course is a local landmark. Many celebrations happen in backyards across the village's family-oriented subdivisions, where graduations, birthdays and communion parties are a regular part of the calendar.
Subdivision backyards
Family-friendly lots host graduations, birthdays and communion parties, with tents common on larger lots.
Lighting here: String lights between trees or poles turn a yard into a venue after dark. Plan power runs and keep cords off walkways.
Park district parks
Bartlett Park District sites suit casual gatherings; confirm reservation rules with the district.
Lighting here: Park events usually end at dusk; if yours does not, battery lanterns and uplights avoid the need for power.
Downtown near the Metra station
Compact blocks host community events and fundraisers, with limited loading space.
Lighting here: Check what the venue's house lighting can do first, then rent uplights or pin spots for the cake and centerpieces.
Banquet halls
Event rooms along Route 59 and Lake Street host larger weddings and receptions.
Lighting here: Hall lighting is often harsh. Uplights in your colors and dimmed overheads change the room more than any decor.

- 03
Drape
Pipe and drape is priced per running foot; use it to hide walls, storage or a kitchen door.
