Celebrating in Geneva
Where Geneva hosts use games & kids
Many Geneva events happen on private property: deep lots on the east side, older homes with mature trees, and estates near the river. Others land in barns and farm venues to the west, or near public gardens and parks where people take photos even if the party itself is elsewhere. Fabyan Forest Preserve and its Japanese garden are a favorite backdrop for portraits.
Since we're just up the road, Geneva is close enough that we can plan unhurried setups and come back for an evening teardown without a long haul. We'll talk through your space on a planning call, and your quote lays out chairs, delivery and setup line by line.
Garden parties at older homes
Mature trees mean shade and roots. We'll set rows where the ground is level and leave aisles clear of low branches.
Games & kids here: Measure the yard: most bounce houses need a flat space about 5 feet larger than the unit on each side, an outlet within 50 feet, and no overhead wires.
Riverfront ceremonies
The Fox River paths draw couples for vows. Public spaces have their own rules on gatherings, so check with the park district.
Games & kids here: Parks usually require permission for inflatables and often a generator, since there is no outlet nearby.
Barn and farm venues
Western Kane County barns pair well with wood chairs, and many have gravel lots that need a sturdy frame.
Games & kids here: Inflatables need flat grass or a tarp-covered hard surface, not gravel. Keep them away from animals and machinery.
Third Street showers and luncheons
Small daytime gatherings in shops, cafes or private rooms often call for 20 to 40 dining-height chairs.
Games & kids here: Venues may require proof of insurance from the inflatable company and limit where units go; ask before you book.
Delivery notes for Geneva
- Third Street parking is tight on weekends. For downtown deliveries, tell us whether there's an alley or rear door we can use.
- Older homes may have narrow side gates. Measure the gate width and we'll plan whether chairs come through the yard or the house.
How to plan
Getting bounce house and party game rentals right
- 01
Space
A standard 15x15 bounce house needs about 20x20 of flat ground plus a power outlet within 50-100 feet.
- 02
Supervision
Plan one adult supervising each inflatable at all times.
- 03
Supplies
Concession machines need supplies (kernels, sugar, cones) priced per batch.
