Celebrating in Cary
Where Cary hosts use linens
Cary is also close to Crystal Lake, Algonquin and Fox River Grove, and families often split events across those towns, such as a ceremony in one place and a backyard dinner in another. That makes timing and a clear delivery plan important. If you are tenting, check which village office handles approvals, and plan ahead for summer, when weekends fill fast.
Downtown near the Metra station
Compact blocks suit fundraisers and community nights, with limited loading and parking.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Backyard parties
Mid-sized residential lots host most graduation parties, showers and birthdays.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Riverside lawns
Fox River-adjacent yards offer scenic ceremony spots, though ground can be soft after rain.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Park district spaces
Cary Park District parks fit casual family events, with reservations set by the district.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
