Celebrating in Auburn Gresham
Where Auburn Gresham hosts use linens
Backyards are the workhorse here, usually with rear alleys. We ask about alley clearance, gate size and ground conditions, and we plan for church-hall schedules that run tight. Tell us your date and guest count and we'll prepare an itemized quote. Tell us your date, your congregation's hall or your yard layout and your headcount, and we'll build a quote around them. We'll also ask about stairs and the nearest legal loading spot.
Church halls
Anniversaries, repasts and community dinners that can need dozens of extra seats.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Bungalow backyards
Graduation parties and birthdays with tents.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
79th Street banquet rooms
Receptions and fundraisers; confirm outside rental policy.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Neighborhood parks
Family gatherings; Chicago Park District permits may apply.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right

One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
