Celebrating in Wheeling
Where Wheeling hosts use linens
Our approach is practical: ask what your hall or yard can handle, how many guests you expect, what time load-in begins. Then we propose chairs, tables and linens that fit your layout and give you an itemized quote. Wheeling hosts are often juggling a ceremony time, a caterer time and a pickup time, and we plan around all three. Tell us each time so nothing collides.
Banquet halls
Ask what chairs and tables are included, and when you can load in.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Backyard and garage parties
Share your space and we will suggest tables that fit and keep traffic flowing.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Park district pavilions
The Wheeling Park District sets rules for reservations and equipment.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
River trail and forest preserve picnics
Cook County forest preserves require permits and may limit what you can bring.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Delivery notes for Wheeling
- Low areas near the Des Plaines River can stay wet. Tell us where chairs will sit.
- Aircraft from Chicago Executive Airport can be loud for outdoor ceremonies. Plan music and speeches accordingly.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
