Celebrating in Norwood Park
Where Norwood Park hosts use linens
Because lots run bigger, tent-style and lawn events are realistic here. Chairs and tables set on grass need level spots and good drainage, and we'll talk through lawn conditions, gate widths and driveway access. Planes may be loud during ceremonies, so some hosts plan vows around the flight pattern. We help you size your order so it fits your yard and your guest count.
Norwood Park feels more like a suburb than most of Chicago. Wide lots, mature trees and Prairie and Victorian-era homes line streets near the Norwood Park Metra station on the Union Pacific Northwest line, and the neighborhood was once its own village before Chicago annexed it. That history shows up in a calm, residential rhythm, and in backyards big enough to host weddings and graduation parties.
Large single-family backyards
Bigger lots suit backyard weddings, graduation parties and block parties.

Norwood Park and fieldhouse spaces
Park district lawns and rooms for community gatherings, under Chicago Park District rules.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Forest preserve picnic groves
Cook County forest preserves like Schiller Woods offer permitted groves for family reunions and picnics.

Higgins Road banquet halls
Restaurants and halls along the corridor host weddings, retirements and milestone dinners.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.

- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
