Celebrating in Montgomery
Where Montgomery hosts use linens
Montgomery borders the busy Orchard Road and Route 25 corridors, and Aurora's venues are minutes away, so families often pick across several towns. Traffic on Orchard Road, Route 30 and the river bridges can slow trucks, especially on weekends. Check with the Village of Montgomery about tents and event approvals, and request a quote early for spring and summer, when events peak.
Riverfront parks
Fox River parks and trail areas suit picnics and ceremonies; reservations are set by the village or park district.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Backyard celebrations
Residential lots host baptism parties, birthdays and graduations, usually with tents and long tables.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Banquet halls in the Aurora area
Nearby halls host quinceañeras and weddings with large guest counts; coordinate chair style and count early.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Church and community events
Parish halls host receptions and fundraisers where extra seating is common.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
