Celebrating in Midlothian
Where Midlothian hosts use linens
Lots are modest to medium, so tents and long tables work, but space is limited. Spring storms can bring heavy rain to flat yards. We help you choose chairs and layouts for your site, plan for weather and schedule delivery so seating is ready before your first guest arrives. Share your setup plans early and we will keep the quote itemized so you can add or remove chairs as the guest list shifts.
Backyard parties
Modest lots suit long tables and stackable chairs. Measure first.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Church and fellowship halls
Halls often need extra chairs for anniversaries and homecomings.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Park district picnics
Pavilions need reservations. Check with the Midlothian Park District.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Reservoir and preserve outings
Forest preserve groves need a Forest Preserves of Cook County permit.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
