Celebrating in Lyons
Where Lyons hosts use linens
Events here include family reunions, graduation parties, birthday cookouts and memorial gatherings. Weather near the river can bring damp ground and bugs in summer, so layout and shade matter. We help you plan seating, delivery access and a backup for the day, and we ask the right questions about parking and carry distance. We help you decide how many tables and chairs are realistic, then confirm access, arrival time and who will meet the driver at the site.
Forest preserve picnics
Groves near the Des Plaines River need a Forest Preserves of Cook County permit and a short carry.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Backyard cookouts
Modest lots suit long tables and stackable chairs. Measure first.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Family reunions
Plan shade, seating for elders and space for kids. Ask about canopy tents.

One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
