Celebrating in Frankfort
Where Frankfort hosts use lighting
Frankfort is known for its historic downtown, where Kansas Street and White Street are lined with small shops, restaurants and old brick buildings, and the Old Plank Road Trail passes along the edge of the village. Around it, larger lots, horse properties and winding roads give much of the village a rural-suburban feel. Weekend crowds fill the downtown streets in summer, so confirm parking for vendor trucks and guests well ahead of time.
Private estate weddings
Big properties host ceremonies and dinners. Confirm gates, drive width and any slope.
Lighting here: String lights between trees or poles turn a yard into a venue after dark. Plan power runs and keep cords off walkways.
Downtown restaurant rooms
Small downtown rooms host showers and rehearsal dinners, with limited loading near Kansas Street.
Lighting here: Check what the venue's house lighting can do first, then rent uplights or pin spots for the cake and centerpieces.
Backyard graduations
Large lots allow tents and buffets. Share your yard layout and the firmest ground.

Park and trail gatherings
Public parks and trail-adjacent areas host picnics and community events. Check reservations and access.
Lighting here: Park events usually end at dusk; if yours does not, battery lanterns and uplights avoid the need for power.
Delivery notes for Frankfort
- Hilly or soft lawns can complicate ceremony rows. Ask about tent flooring and stable chair styles.
- Rural roads can be narrow for large trucks. Tell us about turns, bridges and clearance.

Pipe and drape is priced per running foot; use it to hide walls, storage or a kitchen door.
