Celebrating in Des Plaines
Where Des Plaines hosts use linens
Our job is to fit the plan to your space, whether that is a banquet hall, a pavilion, or a garage and a tent. Tell us your guest count, timing and site, and we will propose chairs, tables and linens in a single, itemized quote. Whether your plan is a hall, a pavilion or a yard, tell us about it and we will build the details.
Des Plaines takes its name from the river that curves through town, with riverside parks, the Des Plaines River Trail and Cook County forest preserves on its edge. Downtown near the Metra Union Pacific Northwest line has the Des Plaines Theatre and Lee Street. O’Hare is just to the south.
Backyard and garage parties
Common for graduations and birthdays. Share your yard dimensions and we will suggest table sizes.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Riverside and forest preserve picnics
Forest preserves have their own permit systems through Cook County. Ask before planning a rental setup.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Park district pavilions
Rand Park and other Des Plaines parks are common for family parties. The Des Plaines Park District sets reservation and equipment rules.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Banquet and church halls
Quinceaneras and weddings often use halls. Ask what seating is included and when load-in is allowed.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
