Celebrating in Chicago Heights
Where Chicago Heights hosts use linens
The older housing stock and tight streets shape delivery. Alley access, street parking on both sides and stairs to basement halls are common, so a few photos or an address check helps a lot. Truck traffic on Lincoln Highway can slow things, and we aim for mid-morning windows when possible. Weekend parking near older blocks is tight, so a plan for guest overflow parking is as useful as the chair count.
Parish halls
Church halls host communions, anniversaries and wedding receptions, often with a set loading entrance.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Banquet halls
Larger event rooms handle quinceaneras and weddings with room for added seating and a dance floor.

Backyard and patio gatherings
Family yards host big dinners, with tents or canopies to stretch the season.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Forest preserve picnics
Nearby preserves like Sauk Trail Woods suit large family picnics. Check the forest preserve's permit and vehicle rules.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Delivery notes for Chicago Heights
- Lincoln Highway and Dixie Highway get heavy truck traffic, so we plan around midday congestion.
- For forest preserve events, check the forest preserve district's rules before you book rentals.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
