Celebrating in Avondale
Where Avondale hosts use linens
Parking along Milwaukee and Belmont gets tight on weekend evenings, and the alleys can be narrow, so delivery planning matters. We ask about your block, alley and gate details up front and match the crew and cart setup to the route. If your party includes a large guest list, a short call can help us tune the chair and table counts.
Bungalow and two-flat backyards
Common spots for graduation parties, baptisms and cookouts, usually with alley access.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Milwaukee Avenue taprooms and banquet spaces
Back rooms and private spaces host birthdays, showers and family banquets.
Linens here: Venues often include white house linens. Renting colored or textured linens is the cheapest way to change the room.
Kosciuszko Park
A neighborhood park with lawns and a fieldhouse, under Chicago Park District rules.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Parish halls
Local parishes host communions, receptions and memorial gatherings.
Linens here: Hall tables are usually plain plastic, so full floor-length linens make the biggest difference in this kind of room.
Delivery notes for Avondale
- For Kosciuszko Park, check permit and equipment rules with the Chicago Park District.
- Backyard slopes and uneven pavers are common. Mention them so we can recommend steady chair styles.
How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
