Celebrating in Western Springs
Where Western Springs hosts use linens
Lots here are generous compared to inner suburbs, so tents and larger tables are realistic. Soil can stay damp in spring, and many older trees mean shade for guests but limited tent space. We help you plan chair counts, ground cover and delivery access so your event runs smoothly. Bigger yards also tempt hosts to add dance floors and lounge corners, and we can price seating clusters in zones so guests can mingle without crowding.
Garden weddings
Larger yards can host a ceremony and dinner in one place. Plan for level ground and tent space.
Linens here: Floor-length linens hide folding tables but catch wind outdoors. Use clips or a lap-length cloth for breezy lawns.
Spring Rock Park events
Public park use requires reservations. Check with the Western Springs Park District.
Linens here: Picnic tables need fitted or lap-length cloths; floor-length linens drag on the ground and stain on grass.
Graduation open houses
Common in late spring. Plan for rain backup and enough seating for extended family.

How to plan
Getting linen rentals right
- 01
Match each table
Floor-length cloths look formal; lap-length cloths are cheaper and fine for casual events.
- 02
One napkin per guest
Add 5% spares, plus cocktail napkins if you are serving passed appetizers.
- 03
Don't forget service tables
Gift, cake, DJ and buffet tables need linens too; they show up in photos.
- 04
Accent layers
Runners, overlays and chair sashes add color without replacing every tablecloth.
