Celebrating in Edgewater
Where Edgewater hosts use games & kids
Because so many residents live in pre-war courtyard buildings and high-rise condos along Sheridan and Lake Shore Drive, many parties happen in building party rooms, rooftop decks and shared garden spaces. Those usually come with association rules about elevators, quiet hours and move-in reservations. We ask about those early so the delivery lands in your reserved window instead of a hallway standoff with a neighbor.
Vintage courtyard buildings and garden spaces
Edgewater's pre-war courtyards make charming ceremony and cocktail spots, with narrow entrances to plan around.
Games & kids here: Measure the yard: most bounce houses need a flat space about 5 feet larger than the unit on each side, an outlet within 50 feet, and no overhead wires.
High-rise party rooms and rooftops
Condo and co-op buildings along Sheridan Road and the lakefront usually require reservations for elevators and common rooms.
Games & kids here: Inflatables are rarely allowed on rooftops because of wind and weight. Tabletop and yard games are the better fit.
Foster Beach and lakefront parks
Open water views for picnics and small ceremonies, with Chicago Park District rules and steady lake wind to plan for.
Games & kids here: Parks usually require permission for inflatables and often a generator, since there is no outlet nearby.
Church and community halls
Congregations around the neighborhood host receptions, memorials and milestone parties.
Games & kids here: Indoor inflatables need ceiling height: check the clearance, since most units stand 13 to 16 feet tall.
Delivery notes for Edgewater
- Ask your building manager about elevator reservations, loading rules and any deposit for common spaces. Send us what they require when you request your quote.
- Sheridan Road and Broadway have tight curb space, so tell us the best place for a truck to stop and how far the carry is to your door.

- 03
Supplies
Concession machines need supplies (kernels, sugar, cones) priced per batch.
