Celebrating in Beverly
Where Beverly hosts use games & kids
Ridge Park and the Dan Ryan Woods forest preserve offer lawns and trails for picnics and photos, and the Metra Rock Island Beverly Branch makes it easy for guests to arrive. Local parishes anchor big milestones, and parish halls host first communions, weddings and wakes. Spring brings graduation parties to the big lawns, and June weddings often spill into tents behind Victorian houses along the ridge.
Large backyards on the ridge
Deep lots suit graduation parties and weddings with tents and many tables.
Games & kids here: Measure the yard: most bounce houses need a flat space about 5 feet larger than the unit on each side, an outlet within 50 feet, and no overhead wires.
Parish halls
Communions, wakes and receptions often use church halls with set schedules.
Games & kids here: Indoor inflatables need ceiling height: check the clearance, since most units stand 13 to 16 feet tall.
Ridge Park and forest preserve picnic groves
Reunions and showers; Chicago Park District or Forest Preserves of Cook County permits apply.
Games & kids here: Parks usually require permission for inflatables and often a generator, since there is no outlet nearby.
Pubs and Western Avenue banquet rooms
Party rooms for retirement dinners and anniversaries, some allowing outside furniture.
Games & kids here: Venues may require proof of insurance from the inflatable company and limit where units go; ask before you book.
