Ghost Chairs for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah: Good Fit?
Clear acrylic that lets the florals do the talking. Here is how the Ghost Chair holds up for a bar or bat mitzvah, checked against what that event actually needs.
Why it works for a bar or bat mitzvah
An all-ages party that is half dinner, half dance floor. A crystal-clear Louis-style chair that almost disappears in the room. Great for maximal florals, mirrored tables, or ceremonies where you don't want seating to block the view.
A bar or bat mitzvah mixes grandparents and teenagers, so you want a big dance floor and enough comfortable seating at the edges for older guests to watch from.
What it costs at common guest counts
- 60 guests: about 63 chairs, $630 to $882
- 120 guests: about 126 chairs, $1,260 to $1,764
- 250 guests: about 263 chairs, $2,630 to $3,682
What to watch for
- No cushion: best for shorter sittings.
- Ordering chairs for the service space when the synagogue already supplies seating.
